Sending Church
Ps Drew's & Emma’s move to Seattle to plant Hope Village came after 9 years pastoring at Awaken Church in San Diego under the discipleship of Pastors Jurgen & Leanne Matthesius.
The San Diego season was incredibly fruitful for the Davies and also established a ‘family’ bond with the Matthesius'. Ps Jurgen & Leanne joyfully blessed & released the Davies into church planting with a commitment to continue to play a significant role in their personal pastoral covering. So while we are not operationally connected to Awaken church, HVC is strongly connected relationally.
